CoxHealth Auxiliary awards annual grants
The CoxHealth Auxiliary represents a strong group of more than 1,300 volunteers and members who believe in the mission of CoxHealth and who provide both financial and service donations to the health system. The auxiliary was established in 1949 and continues to serve CoxHealth and southwest Missouri. Enter any Cox hospital facility and you will likely encounter a program, project or piece of equipment or technology made possible by the Auxiliary.
This year alone the Auxiliary donated more than $260,000 to benefit CoxHealth.
Auxiliary funds are making possible everything from community education on shaken baby syndrome and Cox College nursing scholarships, to gas vouchers and our infant car seat and baby safety book programs. These grants are made possible through support from Auxiliary members, CoxHealth employees and community and business partners through contributions, proceeds from gift shops and the Cox South coffee bar as well as other fundraising projects.
