Medical One Clinic welcomes new provider

Cox Barton County Hospital is excited to welcome Julie Hinds, family nurse practitioner, to the Medical One Clinic’s health care team.

Hinds obtained her undergraduate and post-graduate nursing degrees from the Irene Ransom Bradley School of Nursing at Pittsburg State University. She brings a wealth of experience in caring for patients, having worked 19 years as a critical care nurse and the last six years as a provider.

Hinds is looking forward to developing long-lasting relationships with her patients.

“I love rural medicine because it allows me to spend time with my patients and provide the personalized care they deserve,” she says. “Teaching is a big part of my practice because I want to keep my patients healthy for a lifetime.”

Outside of caring for patients, Hinds keeps busy with the activities of her two children and enjoys an occasional Crossfit session.
