All CoxHealth hospitals now nationally accredited by DNV GL – Healthcare

With the recent accreditation of Cox Barton County Hospital, all CoxHealth hospitals, outpatient centers and provider-based clinics are now nationally accredited by DNV GL - Healthcare. The elite accreditationmeans that the hospital meets or exceeds patient safety standards (Conditions of Participation) set forth by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Physician joins CoxHealth Ozarks Pediatrics

Dr. Charlotte McKnight, a pediatrician, has joined CoxHealth Ozark Pediatrics as its newest provider. Dr. McKnight grew up in Aurora, where her father practiced medicine at the nearby Cox Monett Hospital. Read her story here.

CoxHealth recognized in national healthcare publication

In a supplemental publication of Modern Healthcare, the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) recognized CoxHealth as a 2019 Healthcare’s Most Wired hospital. CoxHealth isin the top 2% nationally, out of more than 16,000 participants in CHIME’s 2019 national survey, that honors hospitals and ambulatory clinics that are adopting IT technologies and strategies that support improved patient care.

CoxHealth’snew super clinics in Nixa and Ozark were shared by the Springfield Business Journal, KTTS, KY3/KSPR, the Christian County Headliner News, Ozarks Independent and KSMU.

KY3/KSPR interviewed Dr. Alok Kothari, CoxHealth pediatric hematologist/oncologist, about the addition of the pediatric specialty at CoxHealth.

Ozarks Tonight featured the tele-speech therapy program at CoxHealth.
