Cox Monett Hospital will host a Community Live Well Screening on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 7 to 10 a.m.

The wellness screening will be held inside the red and white tent located on the south side of the hospital on Benton Street. Tests will be performed on a walk-in basis only.

“At CoxHealth, we are committed to keeping our community well,” said Shannon Hobson, RN, screening coordinator. “Now more than ever, it’s important for individuals to know their risk for serious health issues. We know if we can catch diseases early, patients have a better outcome.”

Reduced-cost lab tests available:

Complete blood count
Comprehensive metabolic panel
Full lipid profile (cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides)
Hgb A1C (blood glucose)
TSH (thyroid)
PSA test (prostate cancer) for an additional $15

Participants are asked to please fast 10 to 12 hours prior to blood draw. The cost is $30, and payable by cash or check only.

All participants will be required to wear a personal face mask/covering. Temperature checks will performed prior to the blood draw.

Please do not attend screening if you have a pending COVID-19 test, a confirmed positive COVID-19 test in the prior 14 days, or have been around someone with COVID-19 in the prior 14 days.
