Cox College believes the primary responsibility for financing education lies with the students and their families. Financial aid is available for those who would be unable to attend without financial assistance. Due to the high cost of education, it is impossible to meet the total financial need of students. Families and students are encouraged to seek sources of aid available to them through community resources.
Most financial aid is based on financial need. Financial need is based on formulas established by federal and state governments. The formula is based on income, assets, family size, and other measures of financial strength. Financial need is defined as the cost of education less the expected family contribution.
