Three new providers join CoxHealth

Susan Bounous, family nurse practitioner, has joined Cox Family Medicine of Monett. She completed her undergraduate education at Missouri State University, and completed her nurse practitioner studies at the University of Kansas. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and is a member of the Missouri Nurses Association and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Bounous' areas of interest include infant, child and adolescent wellness and preventative medicine, and well-woman care.
Melissa Abramovitz has joined CoxHealth Springfield Inpatient Physicians as a physicians assistant. She completed her undergraduate education at Central Methodist University in Fayette, Mo., and earned her Master in Physicians Assisting at Missouri State University. Abramovitz is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physicians Assistants, and is a member of the American Academy of Physicians Assistants and the Missouri Academy of Physicians Assistants.
Kimberly Heiser has joined the CoxHealth Family Medical Care Center as a family nurse practitioner. Heiser earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Union College in Lincoln, Neb., and completed her family nurse practitioner education at the University of Missouri - Kansas City and Missouri Southern State University in Joplin. She is board certified by and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She also holds membership in the American Nursing Association and the Missouri Nurses Association.
