Our team of orthopedic experts utilizes the industry's most advanced technology in the treatment of conditions, illnesses and injuries that impact the bones and joints.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
The Bone and Joint Center houses a state-of-the-art MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) machine.
Using radio waves and a strong magnetic field, MRI provides remarkably clear and detailed pictures of internal organs and tissues.
Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
A Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) is in use at The Bone and Joint Center.
PACS is a sophisticated digital imaging, distribution and storage system, which can be used with all imaging modalities including X-rays, CT and MRI. This allows images to be distributed electronically and interpreted by physicians on computers from multiple locations at CoxHealth.
