Swim Lessons (6 months-17)

It’s never too early to start swim lessons. The Meyer Center offers swimming lessons starting at 6 months (Water Babies, Water Tots, Level 1-Level 4). Personal swim training is available.

Personal Training (ages 5-adult)

Our fitness staff can train and develop programs for the sports minded or for general fitness.

Family Open Court/Family Open Swim

Children of all ages can use these areas during designated times. Members are required to accompany their children, of any age, in the facility during Family Open Court/Swim times. Children under 7 years of age (or non-swimmers) must have a parent directly supervising them in the pool.

Parents’ Night Out

Hey moms and dads! Kids’ Club is giving you a night off. Bring your kids (ages 5-11) in for a funfilled evening of games and a movie, and take a night for yourselves. One Friday each month from 6-9 p.m. at The Meyer Center. Snacks and beverages will be served during the movie. Cost is $5 for members and $7 for non-members. Open to all Fitness Center members. Registration is required. Please call Member Services at 269-3282 or e-mail coxfitnesscenters@coxhealth.com for more information.

Ages 12-15

Children ages 12-15 must be supervised by parents while using the facilities. Direct supervision is strongly recommended in the locker room, pool, whirlpool, sauna, steam room and free weight area, unless they have completed the Youth Access Program.

Youth Access Program

After completing a fitness orientation, your child will have full access to the entire facility without a parent in the building. A fitness orientation will teach your child the importance of exercise and strength training, as well as how to exercise safely and effectively and to be aware of our facility guidelines. Parent/guardian signature is required.
