Robert Bezanson is President and Chief Executive Officer of CoxHealth. He began his career at CoxHealth as an Assistant Administrator in 1981. He served as Adminstrator at Cox South from 1986-1995, and as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 1995-2004. Bezanson is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College of Business and Public Administration, and he obtained a Master's degree in Health Administration at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.
Bezanson is a board member of the Springfield Chamber of Commerce and the Mid America Transplant Services of St. Louis, Missouri. He is a Board Member and the President of Ozark Magnetic Imaging and Ozark Health Ventures. He was previously on the board of the American Cancer Society.
Bezanson served as a Captain in the Air Force. His military assignments included Assistant Hospital Administrator at a base in Thailand and then at Malcom Grow Medical Center at Andrews Air Force Base. He also served as Chief Financial Officer at Langley Air Force Base Hospital. Bezanson is married, and in his free time he enjoys digital photography, fly-fishing, and woodturning.
