Linda Clouse has lived in Springfield for 18 years - "quite an accomplishment for an Air Force brat"! She has a degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Wyoming and worked for Head Start in Springfield, Galena, Ozark, and Mount Vernon until her older child started high school. She is a sustaining member of the Junior League, and has served on numerous boards and committees, including Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks, the Vestry of Christ Episcopal Church, Salute to the Performing Arts, Springfield Area Arts Council, Springfield Ballet adn the Parenting Life Skills Center.
She and her husband John have two children - Katie, a graduate student at the University of Oklahoma, and Jacob, a junior at Westminster College in Fulton, MO. Having an empty nest has opened new opportunities for Linda, including the job of being a doubla for young families in the Ozarks, and serving on the Advisory Board for the Hulston Cancer Center.
