If you are a newly diagnosed patient at Hulston Cancer Center, we invite you to attend one of our patient orientation classes. These classes are intended to familiarize patients with Hulston Cancer Center, prepare patients for what to expect during daily treatment, and identify the support services available to patients at Hulston Cancer Center. Classes are offered daily. Call 417/269-5224 for more information or to register for a class.

Gynecological Cancers Patient Education Program
Thursday, Sept. 9
4:30-6 p.m., Dogwood Room, Hulston Cancer Center
Our healthcare professional will discuss gynecological cancers, coping with side effects and other issues. Pat Hilme, survivor, will deliver an inspiring presentation about her journey. PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) Screening for Prostate Cancer
Wednesday, Sept. 22
8-10 a.m., First Floor Conference Room, Hulston Cancer Center
This free PSA screening is for men 50 and older (or 45 with a family history) who have not had a PSA test within the last year. Registration is required by Sept. 20. Call 269-INFO.

Prostate Cancer Patient Education Program
Thursday, Sept. 30
5:30-6:30 p.m., Dogwood Room, Hulston Cancer Center
Join us for an informational program with urologists Dr. Howard Follis and Dr. Andrew Schultz as they discuss "Life After Prostate Cancer." Learn about coping with side effects of prostate cancer treatment, including erectile dysfunction and incontinence. A light dinner will be served. There is no fee, but registration is required by Sept. 27. Click here to register or call 269-5224.

Free Zumba Class
1st Tuesday of each month
6-6:45 p.m.
Class is for cancer patients and their caregivers. Learn easy dance moves to Latin music and get your workout at the same time. Class is geared for new beginners and can be adapted for those confined to a chair. For more information, call 269-5257.
