Cox Monett is a not-for-profit community hospital located in Monett, Missouri. CoxHealth purchased the hospital and adjacent medical office building in November 1993. Today, CoxHealth continues to invest in the community of Monett by providing quality services on this campus.
Visiting Hours Visiting hours are 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. We request no more than two visitors per patient in a room at the same time. Children are welcome to visit, but they must be accompanied and carefully monitored by an adult at all times. Visiting hours for patients in the critical care areas may be limited because of the patients special needs.
Visitor Parking All visitors are encouraged to park on the north side of the hospital by the Outpatient Clinic or on the east end of the Monett Family Medicine Parking lot, directly across from the main entrance of the hospital.
Food Services The cafeteria is open 6:30-10 a.m. for breakfast; 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. for lunch; and 5:30-6:30 p.m. for dinner. There are also vending machines and soda machines available. A daily lunch menu and prices are posted outside the cafeteria. Family meal trays are available for purchase through the cafeteria to allow the family member to eat with the patient. Breakfast, lunch and dinner trays may be purchased in advance through the cafeteria cashier at a cost of $3.75. Pediatric patients (12 years and younger) may receive one free tray per meal for their guest of choice. The cafeteria is located on the first floor by the main entrance of the hospital.
Gift Shop The Cox Auxiliary Gift Shop is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Friday and offers a wide selection of gift items. The gift shop is located on the first floor by the main entrance.
Pharmacy Cox Monett pharmacy, located on the second floor near the nurse's station, is designed with patient convenience in mind. Hours of operation are 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Chapel Patients and visitors are invited to meditate in our chapel. It is located on the first and will always be open. We believe total patient care includes spiritual, as well as the physical and emotional needs of each patient and family member. Members of the Cox Monett Pastoral Care Department are available to assist patients 24-hours a day. Monett-area pastors take turns being on-call. All area pastors are welcome to visit patients at any time.
